Irish Blog Awards Preview

ireland, shirehorse, horse

I was asked to prepare a preview of my blog for a Sunday Irish Blog Awards ceremony. Since my blog is still on the short list in the best photoblog category I decided to make a preview with the best photo I have taken in Ireland so far. It is a photo of a shirehorse on the meadows of Burtonhall, close to Carlow (click to enlarge).

Skelig rocks

It is almost a year ago, when I went for a trip to Cork and Kerry. Here is one of my favorite photos I took during that trip. Skelig rocks (click to enlarge)

Pros of waking up early - sunrise sky over Borrisokane

In my photo archive I have just found one photo I took on the road from Nenagh to Tullamore, just in the outskirts of Borrisokane. We were on the way to work (had some digs in Tullamore), and I forced my colleague to stop our van.

I like the the moment just before the sunrise, when the clouds are lighten by a sunbeams that are coming from behind of the horizon. (click to enlarge)

Nenagh - St Mary’s of the Rosary - Beauty of the neogothic churches

While I was working on Polish web community portal www.nenagh.pl I took many pictures to add them to the text content of that service. Yesterday I was dealing with those photos and I have realized that I had some good shots of catholic church St Mary’s of the Rosary, the tall one in Nenagh.

Here are those photos (click to enlarge):
