According to Irish Independent and Polish leading internet portal Onet.eu Irish nationals in large numbers are emigrating to Australia to escape from brutal reality of life in a modern society. Majority of the recent Irish emigrants are the high qualified specialists, like builders and constructors, chefs, barbers, doctors and accountants. Australia is currently economically booming, and with its much lower costs of living and lower prices it is much more attractive to many Irish, than the ir homeland. According to the official data of Australian embassy, every month about 700 of Irish is applying for Australian visa.
Meanwhile citizens of new countries of European Union are still coming to Ireland for work, and according to Onet.eu and BDS agency the unofficial number of Lithuanian emigrants reached 120 thousands.
