It is the middle of the night. I am on the Shannon Airport sitting in the front of my laptop in a quite comfortable place - kinda of bar with a bar chairs - a special place for all people addicted to Internet. There are 3 desktop computers, and from 3 to 6 stations for laptop owners. There are both electrical and lan nests, and there is a free wireless Internet access (you need to sign in to get a 5 hours for free, unless you have only 15 minutes).
This comfortable place with access point helped me to stay conscious and present during the last 3 hours of waiting. I am sure I will be fine till 6.15 am when the plane takes off heading for Poland.
It is exactly what was missing on Dublin Airport (there is wi-fi access but not for free) or Huston Station.
I wish there was the same facility on stations/airport in Dublin.

There was a free Internet about 2 years ago on Dublin airport. I remember I was trying to use it one day when they were implementing access control. Painful experience. But before that you could surf away without paying a single penny.
And also, I blog-tagged you.

Last year on Dublin Airport they wanted me to pay about 5 euro for 15 or 30 minutes, and apart a positions with specially prepared desktops, i couldn’t find a nice place suitable for a laptop users (at least electrical nests).
Thanks a million!
Well it is time to add links to all friendly blogs, at least to those where I can find link to my blog.
i was in Gatwick, London recenty after some tiring transatlantic nonsense. set up my lap top and tried to log on through Wi=Fi but they wanted me to suscribe to some network. didn’t bother. it doesn’t cost them anything extra to allow me to log on - they were just being scroungey. bad form considering the only other entertainment was watching a starbucks worker who locked himself in to gate four.
I’m sure you’ve copped by now, but indymedia are quoting you on their website - indymedia.ie.
Frankly, if I was you, while you were making a valid point I still wouldn’t want to be featured on that hippie page, though that won’t be likely any time soon.
I reckon Mac has copped, Dario. He submitted the article himself.
At least I hope you did, Mac, because they are saying you did.
Yes I did. They asked me to write a text that express my point of view on Poles in PSNI. This article shows the same point of view I had expressed before here on my blog.
Regards!
