Howth Lighthouse

During my day with TV Polonia we visited Howth Peninsula and again I could take some pictures of the lighthouse.

The power plant is placed in a wrong place for sure… it destroys a nice coast view

I think the ESB were thinking about how easy it would be to get a big oil tanker as close to power station then scenery ;-)

Still many people would regard Poolbeg power station as an important element of the Dublin skyline.

    Great Blog by the way.

The lighthouse on your picture is not Howth Lighthouse (it is in Howth Harbour), but Baily Lighthouse futher out on Howth Head.
I was there a few weeks ago and found it to be a lovely place.

Great Post, Interesting to hear your comments on walking down O’Connell street and hearing so many People talking Polish. Seems like you were talking from an Irish perspective rather than a Polish one
