Last week I spent working in a position of TV Fixer for producers of one of the programs for RTE. It was nice time with the crew. I was in charge of booking hotels, hiring vintage car, translating and guiding. I got some new experiences and working for Irish media became quite possible opportunity to earn money in a interesting way.

Those guys I was working for, got the impression that (both unfortunately or luckily) Poland is like Ireland 20 years ago. It is for sure years ago, the question is how many years– twenty, fifteen, ten or maybe less?
It is nice that every week I am getting some e-mails from Irish media with a questions about Poland and Polish community in Ireland.

Nice job Mackozer. When will the TV programme be airing, do you know?
Would you say that your blog has been important in creating links with people in the Irish media?
It was “No Place like home” for RTE1.
As far as I know it will be airing in january 2007.
Well… I am not sure about that thesis, but for sure - it would be very nice to conducting a blog/websiste important to Irish media.
It seems that Polish blog (www.eire.drakkart.com) is important to POlish media. Thanx to that I wrote an article to biggest independent Polish newspaper, and now I got an invitation to program of Polish National Sat channel - TV Polonia.
It is time to come back to Ireland and I am going to find a job in Irish media. I am not hoping, but I am going to face
We will see
Hi What did you think of the final program that was aired??
I an an Irish born dramatist living in Australia. I will be touring my play Three Women in W of Ireland in early May. I am keen to get in touch with Polish people living in Ireland involved in theatre, with a view to organising a production of a one act play that calls for an English speaking young Polish man.
Could you point me in the right direction?
Many thanks
Helen Brett
