Getting started

I have been presenting my opinions and impressions about Ireland on my Polish blog (www.eire.drakkart.com) since I came to this beautiful country about 3 months ago.

Thanks to Michele Neylon (www.mneylon.com/blog) I have found that my opinions and photos can be interesting for native Irish people as well as non Polish foreigners.

At the begining I was thinking about straight translation of that Polish blog, but i would be pointless to translate word by word 3 months old posts. I have decided that it would be a completely new diarry that presents opinions and impressions of a Polish archaeologist with 3 month experience of living in Ireland.

In my posts I will deal with all aspects of life and issues I have faced so far (Irish culture, music, language, working in Ireland, relations between Irish people and foreigners etc.), as well as places I have visited.
I would like to appologize in advance for many language mistakes and errors. I am not a fluent English speaker. Sorry Folks :)

Welcome to the Irish podosphere Mackozer. We badly need to hear more from people like yourself who are now such an important part of our economy and culture.

I’m looking forward to learning about the issues you face in living here and whatever else you like to write about :)

Liked the photos Mackozer. I’m sure many Irish people would like to read how you find living in Ireland. Many of us have had to leave our home country in the past to find work. I curious how the experience of the Poles in Ireland’ has possible parallels with the experience of the young Irish people of 15 - 20 years ago.
